Fans of the most popular American 4×4 are excited for the newest Jeep Wrangler model. Since the ’80s, Jeep has improved on its off-roading masterpiece, offering more power and better technology. With all these advanced changes, there’s no better vehicle to take on your next camping trip. Check out this list of everything new in the 2022 Jeep Wrangler.
Upgraded Interior Technology
It seems as though Jeep interiors get better and better every year. For 2022, the Sport/Sport S model features an improved Uconnect 4C touch screen. The Rubicon and Sahara get an 8.7-inch Uconnect 4C display, providing better quality and resolution. These models also have keyless entry, which has become the standard during the past couple of years. All 2022 models also have an improved filter system, ensuring cleaner air for passengers.
Improved Safety Technology
First and foremost, the Wrangler is all about providing a thrilling off-road experience. However, a plethora of advanced safety features was implemented into the new models. Like many other 4x4s, the new Jeep has blind spot monitoring and rear cross-path detection. Automatic forward collision software and active braking are standard, as well. Additionally, the adaptive cruise control saw some improvements, and the automatic high-beam headlamps are brighter than ever. These changes should reduce damage off-road and on the streets.
The High Altitude 4xe for 2022 features a new wheel design and now includes mirrors equipped with turn signals. The Sahara 4xe now touts standard blue tow hooks along with a blue pad print for 4xe wheels. Plus, all the Wrangler models now have the Silver Zynith color in place of Bullet Silver. Most other trim options remain the same from the 2021 models.
Considering everything new in the 2022 Jeep Wrangler, there’s never been a better time to purchase one for yourself! Throughout history, the Wrangler’s functionality and ability to handle rough terrain has remained peerless within the 4×4 market.
