Keep reading to learn about the hunting equipment you should bring along.

1. Knifes

Once in a while, you will have to cut down branches in order to have the perfect view. Having the best OTF knife out there will make the job easier. Hunting knives are also necessary to dress your deer and it is something that should be strapped to your waist.

A knife will also come in handy when dealing with certain animals or in some cases for extra protection.

2. Tree Stand Buddy

When you go hunting you have to stay as still as possible to ensure you do not spook any animals. This is why a tree stand buddy can really come in handy. This is an easy system that you can mount and attach to a tree so that you can have a comfy place to sit.

You can quickly take it down and move it to a different tree if need be as well.

3. Pee Container

After standing in a tree stand all day you will have to use the restroom at some point but human urine will quickly steer animals away from your location. This is why a pee container is essential to ensure that you do not leave your human scent out there.

4. Lights

If you are hunting at nighttime you will need some lighting to see. We recommend packing a lighter, matches, and a flashlight or lamp. Do not forget to pack extra batteries for your lights just in case. Keep in mind, that if it rains the matches will not work so keep them protected or even better invest in waterproof matches.

5. Comfortable Clothing

If you are out hunting and your clothes are not comfortable you can ruin your entire experience and trip. You want to pack clothing that is light yet warm. The clothing you choose should be able to keep you protected and clean against the elements while at the same time keeping you comfortable no matter the weather.

Try on everything including your shirt, pants, socks, underwear, and jacket before you leave to make sure nothing feels too tight or too loose.
