Cumulus fleece jacket is part of Helikon’s Outback Line for a reason. This comfortable fleece jacket is made of durable and warm superfine polyester fleece with nylon reinforcements on forearms, elbows, and shoulders. It has a visored hood, 2-way full front YKK zipper with chin guard and inner storm flap, elasticated cuffs and adjustable bottom hem, rounded on the back, offering outstanding protection from the elements. Moreover, mesh-covered armpit vents provide excellent temperature management. There are spacious, mesh-lined hand pockets secured with a zipper, two internal chest pockets with strengthened edges and easily accessible zip-up utility pockets on sleeves. Loop panels on upper arms are ideal for badges, patches or tags.

Hiking fleeces come in so many different models and colors but one brand makes probably the best one on the market – Columbia. My favorite model is Columbia Men’s Steens Mountain Half Zip Soft Fleece Jacket. If you are looking for a high-quality hiking fleece then you need to consider this one. Made of 100% polyester this fleece is soft on touch, and at the same time provides ultimate warmth. What’s more, this model is available in six color options.

This jacket is guaranteed against defects for it’s lifetime. It’s soft, comfortable and light weight. Perfect over a t-shirt or under a jacket. It can pack down to almost nothing so takes up little room in the backpack.
